Listing and cataloguing for Meesho sellers
Listings written for this platform, and catalogue data that does not quietly cost you money — including the declared dimensions that decide what freight you are charged.
What this covers
- Titles, bullets, descriptions and search terms written per platform
- Category and attribute mapping, which is where most fee errors actually begin
- Declared weight and dimensions checked against the parcel, because the gap is billed to you every shipment
- Image direction and enhanced content where the platform supports it
- New listings tracked against your own median, so a listing is judged against your catalogue and not a borrowed benchmark
The fees this touches on Meesho
On Meesho the deductions we reconcile are commission, shipping and return charges, plus GST charged on those fees. Each is checked separately, because a fee and the tax on that fee are two different lines and adding them together hides both.
Meesho commission, by category
These are the published Meesho rates our audit compares your settlement against. They come from the same rate-card library the product uses — not from a page written once and left alone.
| Category | Price band | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| all | all prices | 0.0% |
1 active rules. A rate that changed mid-year is applied by order date, not by today’s rate — which is where a lot of quiet mismatches come from.
How your Meesho data reaches us
Meesho does not offer a seller API we can use, so the payment report is uploaded from your Supplier Panel. That path is fully working, and we say so plainly rather than implying an automatic connection that does not exist.
Either way we work only from your own settlement and order data. Buyer names, addresses and phone numbers are discarded on import — we hold no permission to read them and do not want one.
Questions sellers actually ask
How quickly will I see something useful?
The first reconciliation needs one full settlement cycle, and returns need their own window to settle before the profit figure means anything. Month one is largely data. Month two is where the picture is real. Anyone promising numbers in week one is describing a different product.
Do you need my Meesho password?
No. You upload the payment report Meesho already gives you. We never ask for a password.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Business data and integration credentials are deleted 90 days after the subscription ends, and a deletion request is completed within 30 days. Your data is never aggregated with another seller’s or used to train models.
Do you guarantee the money back from Meesho?
No, and nobody honestly can — the decision is Meesho’s. What we can do is make the case a good one: the order IDs, the dates, the rate that applied and the exact difference, checked before it is raised.
